Kis lai tun paap kamaunain tera na koi beli ey;
Khaawan sabhe lekha dena teri jaan akeli ey. Kar kar paap jo katthi karnain samjhen maya sathan ey; Sathi apne khud kha laindi eh tan aisi paapan ey. Eh maya usde kamm aaundi satgur nun jo laye rijha; Kahe avtar jo is maya de maalak rab nun daye dikha. |

O' man for whom do you commit sins, none is your true companion;
All are there to share the booty, but you alone shall have to account for your misdeeds. You think that all the material wealth you accumulate sinfully will go with you; This material wealth is so sinful that it eats its own comrades. The material wealth proves useful to the one, who pleases the True Master; Avtar says, the True Master, reveals the Supreme Lord of this material wealth, i.e. God. |
Meaning
The True Master reveals the Supreme Lord of this material wealth, i.e. God. O' man for whom do you commit evils,
none is your true companion; All are there to share the ill-gotten gains, but you alone shall have to account
for your misdeeds. You think that all the material wealth you accumulate sinfully will go with you; This material
wealth is so sinful that it eats its own friends. The material wealth proves useful to the one, who pleases the
True Master.
